This index distinguishes currently earnable achievements from retired or limited-availability achievements. Thresholds that GitHub does not officially document must be treated as community-reported until independently reproduced.

Evidence labels
- Official: directly documented by GitHub.
- Confirmed: reproduced with sufficient dated evidence.
- Observed: seen in one or more accounts but not fully reproduced.
- Community-reported: reported by third parties without adequate independent confirmation.
- Unknown: insufficient evidence for a reliable claim.
Phase 13 status
All seven active guides and both retired guides now follow the achievement guide standard. Numerical claims not published by GitHub remain explicitly classified, each guide includes a verification date, and the index provides a canonical route to every guide.
Ongoing maintenance priorities
- Reverify achievement behaviour when GitHub changes profile or contribution systems.
- Preserve the distinction between official rules and community-reported thresholds.
- Record awarding delays and attribution conditions with dated evidence.
- Add accessible screenshots only when they materially improve verification.
- Correct outdated claims through traceable pull requests.
